2017 Youth Leadership Program

FBI National Academy Associates

For Students Ages 14 - 16

Once again, The Society has joined with the FBI National Academy Associates (FBINAA) for its 2017 Youth Leadership Program. The program offers qualified students (ages 14-16, both male and female) who have demonstrated above average academic standards (3.0 GPA or higher on a 4.0 scale), as well as good citizenship, the opportunity to participate in an eight-day program of leadership development at the FBI Academy in Quantico, VA. Counselors and instructional staff for the program consist of National Academy graduates who are FBINAA members and select FBI Special Agent personnel. The students are also addressed by guest lecturers in various professional disciplines.

The Society of Former Special Agents of the FBI has the privilege of selecting and sponsoring one candidate to attend this year’s program. Although the program is not limited to young persons interested in a future career in law enforcement, interested candidates should possess a desire to gain knowledge of the American system of criminal justice, as well as ethics, leadership skills, and personal development. All candidates must be physically and medically fit to meet the program activities. The final candidate will be required to successfully undergo a medical examination.

When: This year’s session of the Youth Leadership Program begins on Thursday, June 22, 2017 with arrival at Reagan National Airport in Washington, D.C. and concludes on Friday, June 30, 2017 with departure from the same airport.
