Information Committee
The Information Committee attempts to influence public opinion and policy as it affects the FBI, interacting with the press and media in an effort to disseminate the message of the Society and the Bureau more broadly to the American people. Members of the committee, as well as other former agents, have scores of contacts with the press and production companies that seek to enhance the Bureau’s image.
Long-Range Planning Committee
The Long-Range Planning Committee focuses on a number of issues that the Society is likely to face in the future. By proactively addressing concerns and developing viable solutions, the committee takes steps to effectively prepare the Society and its membership for what lies ahead.
Nominating Committee
The Nominating Committee works to recruit the Society’s most qualified members to serve as national officers. At the Society’s annual meeting, the committee selects a slate of candidates, which they submit to the board of directors for final approval before the general membership vote.
Technology Advisory Committee
The Technology Advisory Committee provides the Society with support around its Web site and any other technology-related projects that arise. The committee works to continually enhance the Web site and provide the membership with increased functionality, greater usability, and robust content.
