Scholarship Program

Dedicated to inspiring and supporting the future of our children, the Foundation promotes education by providing many undergraduate leadership and financial need scholarships each year.

Eligibility requirements for our 2018 scholarships are as follows:

  1. Must be the child or grandchild of a current or deceased member of the Society of Former Special Agents of the FBI. If member is deceased, membership must have been current at the time of death.
  2. Must be a graduating high school senior or undergraduate college student pursuing a 4-year college degree at an accredited 2-year or 4-year college/university in the United States.
  3. Must have an unweighted GPA of 3.5 or higher.
  4. Must not have previously received a scholarship from the Former Agents of the FBI Foundation.
  5. Must be a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident enrolled in college classes as a full-time student for the 2018-2019 academic semesters.

Scholarships are also awarded to children of current members of the FBI National Academy Associates through the George A. Zeiss Memorial Scholarship Fund.


Skilled Trade Award
The Foundation also offers a Skilled Trade Award for those students considering a career or technical school certificate program. Skilled trades includes jobs such as a carpenter, electrician, hairdresser, dental hygienist, HVAC technician, automotive mechanic, medical assistant, health care certificate programs, and many other jobs that provide good incomes and are more easily obtained after vocational school or special training.
