Career Day at the Army Navy Country Club

Army Navy Country Club, 1700 Army Navy Drive, Arlington, VA 22202

Tuesday, June 5, 2018

9 AM to 3 PM

The Society of Former Special Agents of the FBI is holding a one-day Career Day at the Army Navy Country Club.  The Society has previously held Career Days in the Atlanta, Los Angeles, Northern Virginia, Chicago, New York and Sacramento areas.  All of these events have had excellent reviews from attendees.

The Career Day is free and open to Society Members as well as to active Special Agents from  FBIHQ, Baltimore and WFO Divisions, who are within five years of retirement eligibility. The FBI has authorized this day as a training day so no leave is necessary.

Topics will include letter and resume writing, networking, keyword searches, interviewing, and maintaining a security clearance into retirement. Featured speakers are Michael Mason, Tim Murphy, Career Coordinator Jack Barrett, and others. There will also be a career panel in the afternoon featuring former Special Agents in a variety of post-Bureau careers.

Pre-registration is required and can be achieved by emailing Administrative Assistant Veronica Rickard at veronica.rickard@socxfbi.org. The registration deadline is May 29, 2018.  Complimentary continental breakfast and a lunch buffet will be provided.
