College Scholarships

Students may CLICK HERE on or after December 20th to access the Scholarship Portal to create their account to submit application materials.

The Former Agents of the FBI Foundation is accepting applications for its 2026 Scholarship Program from December 20, 2025 through February 28, 2026. Graduating high school seniors and undergraduate college students who meet the eligibility requirements and have not previously received a Foundation scholarship may apply.

Academic transcripts must be received in the Foundation Office ([email protected]) by February 19, 2026. All other application materials are submitted in the scholarship portal and must be submitted no later than February 28, 2026. Incomplete submissions will not be considered.

To be eligible, students must:

  1. Be a graduating high school senior or college student enrolled as a full-time undergraduate student (taking at least 12 credits per semester) for the Fall 2026/Spring 2027 academic year at an accredited 2- or 4-year college/university in the United States.
  2. Have a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher on a 4.0 unweighted grading scale. The student's school must send an official academic transcript to verify the student's GPA information. High school students should ask their school to show the UNWEIGHTED GPA on the transcript or have their counselor include the unweighted calculation in the email. College students must use their college transcript. All transcripts must include grades for Fall of 2025. Send transcripts to [email protected] by February 19, 2026 
  3. Be a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident.
  4. Be the CHILD or GRANDCHILD of an active member of the Society of Former Special Agents of the FBI. (Society membership number is required.) If the Society member is deceased, membership must have been current at the time of death.
  5. Students who are the CHILD of an active member of the FBI National Academy Associates (NAA) may apply for the George A. Zeiss Memorial Scholarship. (NAA Membership number is required.) Society membership is not required.
  6. If you have previously received a Scholarship award or Skilled Trades Grant from our Foundation, you may not apply again.
  7. Students who enroll in one of the U.S. Military Academies are not eligible to receive an award from our program unless the academy requires advance payment for the initial use of uniforms, books, supplies, incidentals and equipment.
