Cause of Death: SSA Jerry Senatore died from complications of non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, NC on Wednesday, January 19, 2011. He joined the FBI in Charlotte in 1990 and was SWAT team leader and training coordinator in the FBI’s Charlotte division. He volunteered for at least a month at Staten Island’s Fresh Kills landfill, where the remains of the World Trade Center were transported, and went to Iraq to train the country’s police officers.
